Eternal Emerald

The Eternal Emerald collection carries the heritage of One Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains (千里江山图) by Wang Ximeng. The monumental landscape painting was painted when Wang was only 18, in the early 12th century during the Northern Song dynasty. The work spans over 11 meters and captures an expansive, idealized vision of mountains, rivers, and villages in vivid blues and greens. It is celebrated as one of the greatest masterpieces of Chinese art and is currently housed in the Palace Museum in Beijing. This Gold Kesi interpretation captures the painting’s iconic emerald and turquoise mountains, misty waterways, and tranquil villages through a decorative style reminiscent of traditional tapestry. Layered gold and color create a luminous, sculptural texture that reimagines the grandeur of the original in a contemporary form. Eternal Emerald is a tribute to Wang Ximeng’s poetic landscape — vast, serene, and eternally radiant.
